David Wood Ministries has created a proactive mission strategy that is training national pastors worldwide for Soul Winning and church planting. This bold adventure is the WITNESS Project, which stands for Worldwide Intensified Training of Nationals for Evangelism and Scriptural Soul Winning.

The WITNESS Project trains indigenous Christian leaders to be pastors, evangelists, missionaries and church planters. The program equips them with all the tools they need to spread God’s Word throughout the remote areas in which they live.

The WITNESS Project has set ambitious goals:

• Train 100,000 national Soul Winners to minister in remote locations throughout the world.
• Raise $1 million by enlisting 4,000 sponsors who will help train these national Soul Winners.

When the WITNESS Project began, David Wood Ministries was shocked to learn that less than three percent of all mission activity is in the “10/40 Window,” an area of northern Africa and Asia where most groups are still not reached by the Gospel. Yet two-thirds of the world’s population lives in the 10/40 Window. Most of these countries have a majority of Muslims. What an opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

David Wood Ministries operates field offices throughout the world to assist in pastor training, church planting and missionary activities related to the WITNESS Project. We currently operate in South Africa, Malawi, India, Myanmar, Cuba, Vietnam, and the Philippines, to name a few.
